Maria Clara has over ten years of experience in corporate, foreign exchange and contractual law.  Maria Clara has advised clients on cross-border transactions across several industries, including pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, energy, insurance, and healthcare. She has experience in all the stages of M&A transactions, including stock purchase agreements, NDA’s, shareholders agreements, MOU’s, joint-venture agreements, letters of intent, escrow agreements, and claim notices for indemnification under a SPA, articles of incorporations, and legal memoranda. Maria Clara has broad experience coordinating and supervising local due diligence teams. Before joining UH Abogados, she worked in high tier law firms in Medellin, Bogota and Santiago de Chile.
